DESCRIPTION / NARRATIVE

Details 01.030.0304 and 01.030.0304.2D (Drainage Flashing):

Self draining flashing is a relatively new product. These flashings combine a mesh or fabric material, that drains or wicks moisture, bonded to a membrane or metal flashing. These systems do not require mortar dropping collection devices but still require weep vents for air circulation in the cavity. These system flashings are relatively new and manufacturer’s recommendations must be followed.
